Hi, I’m Marie-Danielle. I’m a writer, advocate, and proud mom to three incredible boys—two of whom are autistic, and all three of whom have ADHD. Each of them is wildly unique, and so much of what I share here comes from the experience of loving and raising neurodivergent kids in a world that often wasn’t built with them in mind.
If you scroll back far enough, you’ll probably come across a few posts that lean a little too hard into the “autism mom” voice—where I centered myself more than I should have. I leave those posts up not because I stand by every word, but because I believe in the power of growth. We learn, we unlearn, we shift, and we keep showing up. That’s part of the story, too.
This space isn’t a how-to guide. It’s just where I come to process the beautiful, messy, often emotional work of parenting differently wired kids—and trying to create a world that doesn’t just accept neurodivergence, but truly includes and values it.
If you’re a parent or caregiver walking a similar path and feeling alone in it, please know my messages are always open. You’re not the only one. And you don’t have to figure it out on your own. You can reach me at mdrekowmasa@gmail.com.
